I'm having a difficult time not concentrating on the potential catastrophes, now that a quasi-coworker has "introduced" me to a guy via email. Let's keep in mind, this introduction was not requested. Can you say "awkward"? What if I meet him and am completely insulted by her opinion of the type of person I would date? While that may make me sound horribly snobbish, it's a valid point. What if we end up going out and it's horrible? She loves this guy - what would I say to her? Panic.
